West Virginia Career Development Association (WVCDA)

WVCDA recognizes that we live in a highly complex society, one with an unpredictable future, and one in which career development has become a matter of paramount importance. Those who seek our professional help will recognize that the successful worker of the future will be the one who acquires new skills suited to today's emphasis on high technology and services. Success will be realized by those who develop strategies and initiatives to seek new career opportunities utilizing those skills.

Members of this association comprise a broad-based group of dedicated professionals including rehabilitation counselors, professional counselors, school counselors, social workers, educators, college career service professionals, and others who provide the guidance and support needed to empower students and job seekers to prepare for their chosen career.
