Summary of the 2007 Spring Conference

At the WV Rehabilitation Center West Virginia College Counseling Association,
West Virginia Counseling Association, and WVCA Southern Region co-sponsored
a Spring conference on Friday 18 May 2007. The conference was held at the West
Virginia Rehabilitation Center in Institute, WV. A total of 6 CEUs were possible.
Presenters were, Dr. Violette Eash who spoke on, "The Many Faces of Ethics"
and Kitty Palausky who spoke on "Myers Briggs for Counselors".

Advertising was extensive and where we expected 30 - 35 people, our final attendance
number was 69. Analysis showed that many LPCs, school counselors, and some
psychologists attended this conference. The Rehabilitation Center facilities proved excellent.
Breaks were catered and lunch was provided by the Center. After all bills were paid, a
comfortable profit was realized to finance more conferences. Thanks to all who attended
and all that worked toward this success.
