Call for programs: Please submit your program proposal by August 1, 2009, to allow time for program committee review and approval for CEU's. The program application is available. Pre-conference workshops are especially welcome in areas of special interest (such as autism, for example) for the afternoon of October 1. Please indicate in your proposal if you are interested in submitting it as a possible pre-conference workshop. These special presentations may also include the required training (3 CEU's) for Counseling Supervisors (ALPS). Workshops may be requested for 1.5 or 3.0 hours in length.

On March 14, 2009 the Board voted to increase regular membership dues from $50 to $60 a year. You can join for 2 years for $100. Membership runs from July 1 to June 30. If you join now for 2 years, you will be a member until June 30, 2011. Click here for membership application.

Danny L. Roach, 64, of Charleston died June 20, 2009, at home after battling prostate cancer. Danny was a past president of WVCA.
